Brand Activation

Branding for founder-led companies

Traditional branding is a set of deliverables based on market trends and manipulative tactics. Brand Activation is a system built into the entire company.

01 · The pre-work

A brand diagnostic

Before the immersive, I run a diagnostic of how the brand operates today and where the gap sits between what the company believes and what the market hears. How deep it goes depends on the company’s stage of growth. An established company has years of customer perception and internal culture to analyze; a pre-revenue startup has a founder’s conviction and a market to map. What stays constant across all three:

Founder and leadership interviews

Structured conversations built to draw out the convictions and operating beliefs already guiding the company.

Language analysis

A review of the current brand language, website, decks, and sales conversations, showing where the words strain against what the company actually is.

Audience input

How the people the brand serves describe it in their own words. For an established company, that means customers, partners, and team. For a pre-revenue startup, it means the market the founder intends to serve.

Marketing asset and tool review

A review of the company’s current visual design, website, social presence, CRM, and marketing systems, to see what’s in place and what the brand has to build on.

The diagnostic produces the raw material the immersive works from: the patterns, the contradictions, and the distance between conviction and perception.

02 · The heart of it

The immersive

The immersive is the heart of the process: two focused days, in CDMX or at a location of your choosing, where we work side by side to bring your identity, message, and presence into full alignment. This is where the soul of your brand is distilled into language, strategy, and structure.

Day one

Foundation & core language

  • Brand philosophy & positioning

We extract and define your core philosophy, then use it to position your brand in the market.

  • Audience clarity & Ideal Client Triangle

Defining the deeper psychographic and spiritual profile of your ideal audience.

  • Offer naming architecture

Structuring the naming of offers to align with both purpose and market demand.

  • Core language development

Developing the detailed voice print of your brand.

Day two

Narrative & market integration

  • Brand narrative framework

Weaving identity, message, and presence into a compelling market-ready story.

  • Language for every touchpoint

Website, social media, proposals, sales scripts, onboarding materials.

  • Strategic marketing priorities

Selecting the channels and tactics that play to the brand’s strengths.

  • Integration plan

Sequencing changes for maximum cultural and market effect.

  • 90-day roadmap

Immediate actions and checkpoints to launch momentum.

For a large organization, the immersive extends to add two more disciplines: Leadership Activation, the shifts in leadership and structure the brand requires, and Community Activation, which equips the internal team and Activators with the language to advance the brand.

03 · The keystone deliverable

The Cornerstone Brief

The Cornerstone Brief is the keystone deliverable of Brand Activation. It is an internal foundational document that extracts, articulates, and codifies the philosophical and strategic elements of your brand, whether for an entire company, a specific initiative, or a single offering.

It is not marketing copy. It is the source every piece of market-facing copy gets built from: your website, your sales conversations, your campaigns, your team’s language. Every Brief is built on the same architecture, filled with your brand’s own material:

04 · To market

Execution

Execution is where we introduce your new language and brand structure to the marketplace. The mindset here is about ROI, precision, and efficiency.

Execution is made up of two phases: implementation and amplification. My role in these phases is determined by your available resources and team structure. If you have a senior marketing leader, I continue in an advisory role. If you don’t have someone to lead the execution, I can serve as a fractional CMO for those phases and beyond.

Phase one · Roughly 90 days

Implementation

Implementation builds the brand into every system the company runs on. Much of this 90-day timeline is decided by the marketing asset and tool review from the diagnostic, which shows what already works, what needs rebuilding, and what has to be built from nothing.

  • +The brand language and offers, embedded across every channel.
  • +The website, visual identity, and social presence, aligned to the Brief.
  • +The marketing systems, CRM, and measurement, set up to run.
Phase two · Go-to-market

Amplification

Amplification takes the brand to market. The go-to-market plan is determined by your available resources, budget, and business goals, so the scope fits the company rather than a template.

If any of this sounds like your company, let’s talk.
